The project objective was to develop problem solving skills and provide a hands on high energy activity for the Advanced Aerospace students.

The project conditions were as follows:

• No more than two gas envelopes per vehicle.
• The LTAV must perform totally autonomously once released from the starting area. No external intervention.
• The course is a simple down and back course with a 180 degree course reversal around a specified point.
• No other conditions have been set other than use good judgement. It must be safe!
